Welcome to Retina and Vitreous of San Antonio

Founded by retina specialist, Rashed Alhabshan, MD, Retina and Vitreous of San Antonio is an independent, physician-owned and physician-led private retina practice based in San Antonio, Stone Oak area. We provide vitreo-retinal care to patients residing in Bexar county and surrounding communities. Our Mission is to develop personalized diagnostic and treatment plans that fit our patients' specific needs, while our Vision is to be a leading provider of specialized vitreo-retinal care in San Antonio and surrounding communities.

At Retina and Vitreous of San Antonio, we utilize advanced diagnostic devices to perform retinal exams. Dr. Alhabshan is a fellowship-trained retina specialist and is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS).
